Today Yip and I finally made that much contemplated trip to the Spring on our push bikes. The Spring is the talk of the town. You see it in the newspapers, websites, facebooks and finally here onto my blog page.

This early Sunday morning, the place was calm but littered with pieces of history from the night before. Obviously there was a huge crowd. Come ten o’clock this place will again be alive with all walks of life, curious as to what a lifestyle shopping center is all about. Officially opened to the general public three days back on the 10th of January, the Spring was swamped beyond imagination with people from far and near. As Aristotle suggested, the infinite has a potential existence here… however there will not be an actual infinite.

Been to the talk of the town myself, Impressive, I would say for this new shopping spot in Kuching. Sad to see that not all retail slot are taken up. Kuching people don't shop in Kuching at all, they would rather fly all the way to K.L. or Singapore to do their shopping. Prices need to be as competitive as it is in Singapore or K.L. Goods must also be equally of good quality. I went to a shoes shop and found branded shoes at ridiculous pricing but are of lousy quality! Kuching people are not easy to bluff anymore...
