Sunday Morning Rides - 11th Edition

Kampung Singai Revisited - Sun 13th July 2008

This was yet another round trip from our Tondong base camp. Another training session for Andrew. We made a round trip to Kampung Singai and stopped by the Mount Singai Catholic pilgrimage center passing by St Peter’s Church, Singai.

Andrew leading the way and then overtook by Nic with no hands on the handle bar. How cool is that?

Andrew to infinity and beyond.

Taking a leak with a view.

(Left Photo) : Andrew with sheer determination, ascending the steepest hill on this route. (Right Photo) : Andrew at St.Peter, Singai. Yip in the foreground.

That's me at a sculpture of Jesus at the base of the Mount Singai pilgrimage center. And no that is not my car.

Sunday Morning Rides – 10th Edition

Kampung Semaba Revisited - Sun 6th July 2008

The paradox of our time, the refusing to accept the status quo, is the route of all progress. George Bernard Shaw once said, “The reasonable man adapts himself to the world. The unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.” Ladies and Gentlemen, let me introduce you all to the unreasonable man, our latest addition to the “Sunday Morning forget about the wife” Club, he is non other than Mr. Andrew Chai. For his initiation, we were rather merciful, forgiving and rather REASONABLE. He survived our default Kampung Semaba Route. Kudos and welcome.

Andrew and the open road. Viva Andrew!

Andrew, enjoying his Laksa after the trip. By the way, you still owe me RM3.00 for the Laksa.
