Kampung Sejijak - Sun 18th October 2009
Mark (my cuz) and I have been riding consistently every Sunday morning for the past month now. Today we did a 32km ride to Kampung Sejijak, another Malay Kampung located about 5km past Batu Kawa Old town. Mark is on training to gain his stamina for his ultimate Chiang Mai downhill trip next month. He recently bought a RM3000 odd, "Giant" (brand name) mountain bike to add to his collection of now, 4 bicycles. I love it when people spend money, it helps to stop the recession.
Photo above shows Mark by the river in Kampung Sejijak with his new Giant bike. It has hydraulic disks brakes and michelin tyres. Wooo Haaaa!
Another river view at Kampung Sejijak. We ended up at Batu Kawa old town for Meat Ball mee before realizing that it was hard to cycle back on a full stomach. Thus ending another pleasant morning ride for another perfect Sunday. Cheers!
